Parent Helpers Needed for 10th June – Amber & Charlotte’s Home Groups

 Kia Ora Whānau

We have a tentative date of Thursday 10th June for Amber and Charlotte's groups to visit The Botanic Gardens for an activity session with the Council's Outdoor Education Team and the Museum. This was planned for Monday 24th May, but was cancelled due to cold weather. Thanks to those who have already volunteered.

We need just two more parent helpers to undertake this trip.

If you are able to assist for the full day, from 9am-3pm, please email Charlotte asap. charlotte.verity@beckenham.school.nz.

Many thanks,

Amber and Charlotte

Hampers Raffle

The Kauri hub has put together 10 prizes for our hamper raffle. While the raffle will be drawn at our quiz night on Saturday, tickets will be available to the entire school community. Purchase your tickets for $2 each from in front of the school hall on Thursday and Friday, before and after school. Ten draws for $2 is pretty good odds, so be in to win!

Hamper Reminder and Quiz Help

 Kia ora everyone,

Thanks to those who sent in items for our hamper raffle today. We still have over half of the hub to send in a contribution and need these by tomorrow, so please make sure something is in your child's bag.

We are also in need of two more people to help out on the night - this Saturday from 7pm. Please email Nicky if you could join our cheery team.

Effective Inclusion Education Partners...

ShowQuest 2021 - Year 7 & 8

Last Monday our Year 7 & 8 students performed in ShowQuest. What a fabulous day had by all. A huge thanks to all of the parents who supported during the day, and the teachers who put a lot of time in to each performance over the last few weeks. Our Beckenham supporters in the audience on the night were also complimented on their enthusiasm and shoutouts! It was fabulous to see everyone come together and contribute to put on an amazing show.

Students participated by performing, doing sound and lighting - and we even had our wonderful Chef Luke whipping up some delicious treats to be shared with all of our incredible performers.
