Parents are regularly updated about their children’s progress at Beckenham Te Kura o Pūroto.
The year starts with learning conferences on the first two days of school. Students, parents and teachers identify the student’s strengths and then determine goals for the student to work on. Learning conferences are also held at two other times during the year where students and teachers share the progress that students have made throughout the year. During learning conference time, you can book a learning conference via the School Interviews website. Please check the latest newsletter for the event code.
Formal reports are also sent home to parents twice a year. These reports are designed to inform parents on how their children are achieving at school. School reports include a national standards section to show how the student is achieving in relation to the standards.
Parents are also welcome to contact their child’s home group teacher to discuss any aspect of their learning or well-being.
