Along with providing individual and small group lessons in a range of instruments, the partnership includes an Outreach Band programme that runs alongside the lessons. Every student learning a band instrument plays in a band, improving their skill at a faster rate and experiencing the fun and benefit of making music as part of an ensemble. As part of the band, students will specialise in one or more of the following instruments:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul\">\n<li>Percussion<\/li>\n<li>Tuned Percussion (glockenspiel)<\/li>\n<li>Bass Guitar<\/li>\n<li>Saxophone<\/li>\n<li>Flute<\/li>\n<li>Clarinet<\/li>\n<li>Trumpet<\/li>\n<li>Trombone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To find out more about the <strong>Outreach Band programme<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beckenham.school.nz\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Outreach-Band-2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>CSM also offers lessons in violin, viola and cello through their <strong>Outreach Strings programme<\/strong>.
