Students do not need to wear their uniform on these days. Non-uniform days will be announced in the school newsletter or in a special notice.<\/p>\n<h2>What are school houses?<\/h2>\n<p>Beckenham Te Kura o P\u016broto has four houses each with their own colour &#8211; Waimea (blue), Tennyson (orange), Fisher (purple) and Heathcote (yellow). Each student is placed in one of these houses when they enrol at Beckenham Te Kura o P\u016broto. We use houses as a way to foster friendly competitions and for younger and older students to work together.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the earliest time children may arrive at school?<\/h2>\n<p>Students may arrive at school from 8:30 AM.
